A.I. Breeding Service

With its long standing experience and reputation within the Australian Standardbred breeding industry, Allenby Lodge is regarded as a safe receiver of transported semen, gaining optimum conception rates each year. Horse specific fencing and yards ensures your mare is as safe as possible whilst on the property and our veterinarian is only minutes away in case of need.

Rates:

• Our standard charge for handling a mare for breeding is $385
• Semen pick up from Adelaide Airport is $27.50 per trip
• Agistment during the breeding season is $44 per week
• Vet fees, prostaglandin, etc. at cost as charged by our veterinary practitioner

Agistment Service

Having kilometres of horse fencing and a number of stables, Allenby Lodge has ample space for agisting the equine. Paddock, stable, yard only and stable with yard are available. For stabled agistment, feed may be supplied by the owner, or provided by Allenby Lodge.

Rates:

• Paddock $44 per week (mares and geldings only)
• Yard only $77 per week plus feed cost if not supplied
• Stable $77 per week plus feed cost if not supplied

• Worming (if required): $27.50
• Hoof trim (if required): $44
• Foaling down $44 per week + $110 handling fee
• Weaning $55 per week + $110 handling fee
